Midway, Ky. – It has been a busy week for Midway University women's soccer coach, Sherrill Smith as he has added two more recruits to his 2017-18 recruiting class to bring his total to 15 that will join the program next year.

Smith added Brynn Bradley and Madyson Tipton to the recruiting class as they both signed their letter of intent to join the program next season.

Smith noted about Bradley saying, "We are so excited to add Brynn to our 2017-18 recruiting class; she is a very strong offensive player that brings experience at central and outside halfback position as well as the striker position."

Bradley has been a standout for the women's soccer team for the last four years at West Jessamine High School in Nicholasville, Kentucky.

"Brynn has a passion for the game that makes coaching her easy," said her high school coach and club soccer coach, Lewis Hale. "She leads our club team in goals scored and when needed, she will give shutout effort as a goalie." Hale added, "Her enthusiasm and passion for soccer is contagious, she makes those around her better.

Not only does Bradley carry herself well on the field, but also in the classroom. She brings in a GPA well above a 3.0 to Midway University.

Madyson Tipton, on the other hand, hails from Bourbon County High School in Paris, Kentucky where she has been a standout for the last four seasons.

"We are very happy that Madyson has decided to attend Midway in the fall," noted head soccer coach, Sherrill Smith. "She has been a solid high school and club player who bring so much energy to each match."

Tipton has put together a stellar four year career that will be hard for anyone to match. She has netted 168 goals and assisted on 42. As a freshman she scored 45 goals, as a sophomore 40, as a junior 45, and as a senior 38. Each of those four years, she led her team in scoring.

"Mady was a four year varsity starter for Bourbon County," noted Bourbon County soccer coach, Jeff Jett. "She was one of the most prolific scorers to ever play Kentucky High School girls soccer." Jett added, "Her 168 total goals in her four year career places her sixth all-time in the KHSAA girls soccer individual scoring."

Tipton is not only a prolific scorer, but also a great student in the classroom. She will also bring in a GPA over a 3.0. She is undecided on her major.
