Midway, Ky. – While his team was preparing for the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship, which takes place shortly, women's golf coach, Otis Smith, has been hot on the recruiting trail as he finished out his 2017-18 recruiting class with the addition of his second member.

Jenna Lewis, a senior from Shelby County High School in Shelbyville, Ky. recently put pen to paper when she signed her letter of intent to join the Midway University women's golf program in the fall of 2017.

"I am so pleased that Jenna has decided to come be a part of our golf family," noted head coach, Otis Smith. "She's the last piece of the puzzle for this recruiting class and I think she will be a difference maker for our team in the future."

Lewis has helped lead the Rockets to an appearance in the KHSAA State Tournament the last three seasons. She has improved each season leading to a top-30 finish in the 2016 Leachman/KHSAA Girls State Golf Tournament.

Lewis is undecided on what her major will be when she attends Midway in the fall.
