Midway University Western Team

The Midway University Western Team performs at the highest level of horsemanship in one of the toughest regions of the IHSA. Throughout the year, our riders consistently accumulate points in six divisions, from walk-jog to reining, while our team finishes in the top three at each regular season show. By spring, without exception, Midway riders qualify for and compete in National IHSA competition.

Midway University boasts the highest quality, western horses and has been recognized for the quality of our herd by IHSA Officials.

Privilege of Being a Midway Western Team Member
As a Western team member, you are part of an elite group that constantly strives to improve equestrian skills. Your experience begins well before the show ring and extends well-after the end of the show. Fundamental to each team member is the relationship and bond with the Midway horses.

Not only is it fun to be a Western team member, the college provides your IHSA membership and entry fees for competitions, and you incur no expense for team travel.

Team members experience the benefits of being part of a team and, as importantly, build friendships and establish industry connections that last long into their futures.
